The art of living is more like wrestling than dancing

Apologies for the two-week hiatus. Between schoolwork, finally playing World of Warcraft, and marathoning several TV shows, I haven’t had the inspiration to write. I’m also still working on my project with Lee, so stay tuned!

Starting next month, I’ll be working extensively with Feminist Justice League, an awesome group of activists formed in the wake of Texas’ House Bill 2 that “centers on justice, signaling our self-consciousness as one part of an intersectional social justice movement.” Also, there are superhero capes, so how could I not get involved?

Life’s been pretty great lately. Aside from what I’ve mentioned, nothing much has changed, but I’m feeling very optimistic about my current endeavors. This might have a lot to do with the progress I’ve made on World of Warcraft, but…hey, I take what I can get.

Oh, wait, there was this, too:

Christine,

If there was any way to award more points for this assignment I would. You hit a GRAND SLAM with your response to the scenario in part one and the application of theoretical constructs in part II. I get the feeling you have had to sell theory to others before or perhaps in your work?–am I right on this ….? The reason I speculate is that for 5 years I worked with non-CHES and became the THEORY partner. As more federal granting agencies demanded theory-based grant proposals, the physicians, nurses, dentists, and researchers did not have a clue. Teaching others about theory only makes you appreciate it more! You truly demonstrate a very advanced understanding of applying theory which is a hallmark of a true MASTER. Keep up the excellent work.

Sincerely,
[Advances in Health Science professor]

I’ve been riding that high for the last couple of days, and I don’t plan on letting up anytime soon. (A perk of not having any friends inside a 100-mile radius aside from my adoring boyfriend!)

So, I apologize that this post hasn’t been as deep or contemplative as usual, but I wanted to throw out some smoke signals to let you know I’m still alive. And now, back to WoW. If anyone plays on Proudmoore, look for Caerthynna!
